During the early 16th century the Aztecs ruled over most of Mexico over 6 million people from 1345 to 1521 CE. They were big on herbs for health and plants for food. During Spain quest to conquer as much land as possible they landed at Mexico at 1519 CE. It wasn’t until 1521 when the spaniards took full control of the country and pressed all of their ways of rule, life, and forced their religion of Catholicism into the Natives. Now in modern day life in Mexico most of the population is catholic, they practice their religion and follow the Bible for their lifestyle.

Mexico is located in Central America. To the north of it is North America (United States Of America). They both live within a democracy as the government lifestyle. They both are one of the most obese countries in the world. As for differences, Mexico is far poorer than America is and eat a lot more fresh meat due to the more farm families that reside in Mexico. To the south of Mexico is many smaller countries like Guatemala, Belize, and El Salvador. These countries are similar in their weather and lifestyle of farm heavy life. They are different In their religion and government formed life.

The weather in Mexico can vary hugely, depending on where in Mexico you are at. If u are more in central Mexico it will be hotter and more of a desert ( more dryer) like feel to it. If u are more costal Mexico will be more tropical if cooler and humid feel climate ( more wetter climate).
Mexico’s crops count for about to 47% of their agriculture, they grow corn, tomatoes, bananas, chilies peppers, lemons, mangos, beans, barley, avocado. They also have a very heavy farming and domestication with animals so they have fresh meat very often. With this we can infer that they live a fairly balanced lifestyle with a mixtures of fruits and fresh meat, but they do also have very heavy glucose meals which isn’t very healthy for the body if you have them often wich they do.
The average lifespan in Mexico is 77.12. From this we can infer that Mexicans live a relatively healthy lifestyle, compared to the Americans who have a 78.69 life expectancy they aren’t to far apart. I say they have a healthy balance between fruit and meats due to their lifestyle and it will probably grow to a higher number in the future due to the less red meat and increase of fruit that helps out blood glucose going higher.

The fact that there is more than 42% of Mexicans living below the national poverty line can deal a big factor into the health and nutrition of the Mexicans. This can affect them due to the living conditions and how low healthy food is accessible to them due to lack of money so they usually have the unhealthy cheaper foods. Also the Mexica. Government is very corrupt therefore they do but help their communities in the way that they should giving aid to those in need and helping developed them like they should. Finally to Leave it on a good note the coastal areas of Mexico do have a lot of nutrition, sense Mexico is covered by bodies of water on both sides they are a very big income of seafood and fish which are filled with protein.
I choose Mexico for a number of reasons. To begin I am Mexican American and I go to Mexico often. And as I was walking and every time I go I see the difference between lifestyle between here and America. And I experience both sides of Mexico the developed and the poverty side of Mexico and I believed that this project was a great way for me to find out more about my country and see what other information I could be missing and see how I can help others in mexico.
RECIPE OF A TACO
For my recipe I will be doing a plain native famous taco. A taco consist of two things a tortilla (flour) and any meat of your choice whether it’s beef chicken or pork. First grab the tortilla and put it over a flame on both sides until it is at a heat you like. Next put your meat into a pan and cook it for about 30 min or until your meat is fully cooked ready to eat. Then make your taco as easy as that.
One taco has 102 grams, or 210 calories 3 grams of saturated fat, 320 mg of sodium, 3 grams of sugar and 6 grams of protein,2 grams of fibers, 15 grams of eat carbs
